Have you heard of the final stage of life for a Hindu? It's called Sannyasin. It's a voluntary stage of life that includes complete celibacy and renunciation of worldly things; houses, work, etc.. It's a very devout stage.
I believe it's Hinduism that has two versions of Nirvana... plugged and unplugged. Opps, wrong Nirvana. At any rate, there's one Nirvana that is totally spiritual. The other one is totally sensual. They report that many choose to remain in the sensual. Go figure.
